Description

The Kenora Rainy River Regional Laboratory Program (KRRRLP) is seeking to fill the following position with a highly motivated, team-oriented professional:

 Reporting directly to the Program Director & Quality Coordinator, the Executive Assistant contributes to the efficient day to-day operations of the Kenora-Rainy River Regional Laboratory Program office, and supports the work of management, regional laboratories, and the Board of Directors.

This position requires a proactive individual able to plan, anticipate needs and take responsibility for resolving matters efficiently and independently. The incumbent will bring to this role a high level of professionalism, composure, diplomacy, flexibility, and critical thinking. This is a Work from Home/ virtual position, therefore we are looking for a highly organized and collaborative professional, who will operate effectively in a remote working environment.

 Qualifications:

  • Completion of post-secondary education at the college or university level in a complementary discipline and/or completion of Medical/Office Assistant program
  • Proficiency in various software applications, specifically Adobe and Microsoft Office suite (365), and Teams
  • Exceptional interpersonal and public relations skills
  • Excellent minute taking skills and compilation of meeting packages
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Minimum 60 wpm keyboarding skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Demonstrated initiative to identify/recommend improvements, and willingness to assume projects as assigned
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing continued education and professional development
  • Ability to maintain composure and productivity in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated reliable attendance record
  • Medical terminology an asset
