Description
The Ultrasound Technologist performs a variety of clinical functions and procedures to provide high-quality ultrasound images used for the diagnostic process and provision of excellent patient care. This includes ultrasound scans of obstetrics, gynecology, abdominal, thyroid, venous, and scrotum. In this role, the assignment of clinical functions will take into consideration the technologist’s skill and training.
This position is responsible for ensuring that the images captured are high-quality for the radiologist’s interpretation and are in accordance with requests. The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for ensuring the functioning and troubleshooting of equipment and that the work area is well stocked and clean.

Qualifications
- Registered with the CMRITO
- Registered with the ARDMS
- Registered with the CAMRT an asset
- Breast U/S and Interventional training an asset
- Registered in good standing with Sonography Canada as a CRGS (OB/GYN & Abdomen)
- Reliable attendance record
